Transformers Evangelion is a crossover fanfic by Haddad602 that a crossover between Transformers and Neon Genesis Evangelion series. While there many heroes within the work no one is more admirable than Optimus Prime and Shinji Ikari.
Plot[]
It features the Autobot Leader Optimus Prime sent to the world of Neon Genesis Evangelion during a attempt to stop a Decepticon scheme that ultimately had him show up in a battle between Evangelion Unit-01 and Arael. Ultimately Optimus Prime would dedicate to protect that univere's Earth from the Angels and Decepticons while becoming a fatherly figure to the Evengelion Pilots and uncovering SEELE's schemes.
Closet Contenders For The Ultimate Good[]
Vector Sigma[]
Heavily implied to be Primus he would ultimately provide Optimus the help and means to put a end of SEELE’s schemes by ensuring Cybetron isn't weakened by the events of Beast Machines so it doesn't create a opening for SEELE to attack a weakened Cybetron.
However all Vector Sigma did was assist Optimus Prime out with needing to foil SEELE only helping him time jump to the past and back with Optimus Prime doing his acts on his own free will and don't do anything on it's own to standout but it is worth mentioning here.
Grimlock[]
He is Dinobot leader and the one who ultimately saved Optimus Prime, Shinji Ikari and Asuka by putting a end to Keel’s The Beast Machine and took on many of the Mass Production Evangelion Units on his own
However all of Grimlock's actions merely a extension of Optimus Prime’s admirability and influence with him being too lethal, a berserker and dimwitted to be the Ultimate Good.
Asuka Langley Sohryu[]
Asuka Langley Soheyu is has less jerkish and arrogant than her canon self while more admirable to pass the fanfic's standards since she wasn't put out of commission unlike her canon self allowing her to do more heroism.
While she far less jerkish and arrogant and has has more admirable acts than her canon self she fails the admirable standards to Shinji Ikari who was able to stand up to the Mass Production Evangelion Units and Galvatron with the same resources.
Rei Anayami[]
She is one of the Evangelion pilots and unlike her canon self she looses all of her corruptions by end of the story. She also ends up giving up her life to allow Optimus Prime to save Shinji Ikari and later encouraged Shinji Ikari to stand up to Galvatron.
However she falls short on Admiability despite lacking her canon self's corruptions due to her death by The Beast Machine taking her out of commission for most of the story making her fail to Asuka and Grimlock who did more and her despite her influence on Shinji Ikari it less when compared to Optimus Prime's influence on Shinji himself.
