The Dragon Prince is an animated television series created on Netflix by Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond. It is set in a fantasy world where humans, elves and dragons inhabit the land, as well as many other magical creatures. Magic is used by anyone to do various tasks, and can be derived from living creatures as dark magic or can come from the essence of the land, associated with naturally occurring elements as primal magic. The series centers in the main continent Xadia where a 700-year-old conflict between humans and elves has been persisting due to the machinations of the main villain, the Startouch Elf Aaravos, and prejudices between the many races of elves, dragons and humans on their usage of magic. The story centers around two humans and an elf who find the egg housing the titular Dragon Prince, and seek to return it to the Archdragon in hopes of resolving the centuries-old divide. In the process, they meet many new people, learn more about the history of their world, with several new conflicts across the world starting as bonds form and break on the road to fate as Aaravos' goal comes to fruition on his goal of vengeance against the world for his daughter's death.
There are many forces of good in this world, ranging from intelligent human leaders to formidable warriors, who fight to maintain peace and harmony throughout Xadia and unite the clans against a common enemy while ensuring safety of their people. As of now, the series is ongoing and does not have a definite Ultimate Good, however there are various potential candidates.
Potential Candidates for the Ultimate Good[]
Callum[]

Callum is arguably the main protagonist of the series. He is the son of the former King of Katolis, King Harrow, and the brother of the current king, Ezran. He is the former High Mage of Katolis, and the first human ever to learn how to use Primal Magic, starting with the Sky Arcanum in Season 3, and later expanding to the Ocean Arcanum as of Season 5. He is learning many new other forms of magic, proving himself to be one of the most powerful and intelligent mages in the story, possibly rivalling Claudia and even Viren in terms of prowess in magic. He is also one of the most selfless and noble characters for various reasons. He is firmly against using Dark Magic for protection of living beings, and only used 3 times in the series, all of which were done for protecting his friends, and he is very compassionate to other races of elves and willing to help anyone in need. He is also one of the most admirable heroes, as he played a key role in stopping Viren's invasion of the Storm Spire and saving Azymondias, and defeated Finnegrin, stopping his reign of the Seaport and preventing him from ever hunting down dragons again, and he along with Rayla and Ezran returned the Dragon Prince to Queen Zubeia. He is also very intelligent in other aspects, as he is very skilled in art. His only other questionable moment is in assisting Rayla and Runaan in evading justice from killing King Harrow, though Runaan expressed remorse for it and this was done out of loyalty, and the finale of Season 7 revealed Harrow may not be dead. As his arc is still going if the series continued, it is very possible he could be the Ultimate Good.
Ezran[]

He is the current ruler of Katolis after his father, King Harrow, and is one of the main protagonists of the show. He is highly resourceful, being the ruler of a nation and having the alliances of the other human kingdoms, mainly the Kingdom of Duren through Queen Aanya, and is highly influential, being one of the key reasons for why Viren's invasion of the Storm Spire was stopped. He is also one of the most selfless characters, showing more kindness as a king than any other king of Katolis, as stated by Corvus, his guard, and is very forgiving, especially to Runaan who murdered his father. He is also very pacifistic, as he gave up the throne to Viren, temporarily at the end of Season 3, to avoid bloodshed and leading his kingdom to their doom. He also aims to maintain peace among the dragons, elves and humans, as emphasized by his speech at the end of the 7th season after Aaravos was sealed by the Archdragons and Callum. He is also very kind to all animals as shown with his efforts against Finnegrin, and protection of dragons such as Pyrrha and Zubeia during battles. While he is very innocent due to his youth, he is also wise and empathetic and is generally regarded as a good ruler among Katolis. As of now, his arc is still going, and he remains a good candidate for the Ultimate Good.
Aanya[]

She is the ruler of the Kingdom of Duren, and the daughter of Queens Annika and Neha, who both sacrificed their lives protecting everyone from Avizandum during the effort to retrieve the heart of the Magma Titan to solve their nation's famine. Aanya is very intelligent and wise compared to the other human kingdom rulers, and brave, as shown by her stance against Viren's proposal of war against Xadia, and being able to see through others' manipulations, namely that of Aaravos to Ezran in Season 7, Viren in Season 3, and Karim in Season 6. She is also one of the most influential heroes in the story, as she led the resistance army against Viren's invasion in Season 3, and she played a key role in stopping Karim's attempts to wage war against the humans, and take advantage of Sol Regem's rage to destroy their kingdoms. She is also one of the most pacifistic characters, as she always chooses the least violent approach and is very level-headed when it comes to resolving conflicts, even compared to Ezran, as she does not give into revenge. She is also one of the most powerful characters, as she is a formidable archer with deadly aim and was able to save Callum from being killed by Kasef, and dispatched many corrupted soldiers in the end of Season 3, and was able to shoot the fire rubies to get into the cave housing them in Duren. Her arc is still going on as the series in unfinished, and her selflessness and nobility (both figurative and literal) makes her a solid contender for the Ultimate Good.
