Squidward Tentacles is the deuteragonist of the SpongeBob SquarePants fan webcomic The Bikini Bottom Horror. He is an anthropomorphic squid that decides to become the protector of Bikini Bottom after defeating the Tortured One and reforming his old arrogant and egotistical self into a selfless hero, yet still retaining his sarcasm but to a lesser degree.

Actions and Characteristics

• He is easily one of the most admirable characters in the webcomic, defending Bikini Bottom from several Patrick clones, saving Sandy from getting ripped apart by Patrick Clones, giving her a chance to escape the chaos so she wouldn't need to risk her life, playing a large role in the Tortured One's defeat by opening a hole in the ground that was full of lava from Mount Bikini Bottom so SpongeBob could finally kill the Tortured One, saving the lives of SpongeBob, Patrick, Gary and Sandy and deciding to become the protector of Bikini Bottom to protect it from any future threats.
• He is the most powerful hero in the story, thanks to his ability to become a massive titan that grants him immense physical strength and very high durability, being able to survive getting his heart skewered and fight the Tortured One for a short amount of time before it almost devoured him. He was also strong enough to rip a hole in the ground big enough for SpongeBob to toss the Tortured One into the lava from Mount Bikini Bottom and kill the Tortured One for good.
• He has a decent amount of influence over the comic, due to him playing the largest role in battling the Tortured One and the Patrick Clones, plus being the one indirectly responsible for Patrick redeeming himself and being one of two people coming up with the idea to use Mount Bikini Bottom to defeat the Tortured One, alongside Patrick.
• Despite having his corrupting factors from the show retain at first, he sheds all of them throughout the comic and by the end, becomes a selfless and noble hero willing to risk his own life to protect others, even if he has to do it alone.
