Sonic the Hedgehog is the titular main protagonist of the Sonic Cinematic Universe, which is based on Sega's video game franchise of the same name.
He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog born on the planet known as Green Hill Zone with the power of supersonic speed. He was forced to leave the Green Hill Zone from the Echidna Tribe and build a life for himself on Earth. He is the film's adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog from the video game franchise.
He is voiced by Benjamin L. Valic as a child and by Ben Schwartz as a teenager.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- In spite of his corrupting factors such as his jerkish behavior, mischief, arrogance, and egotism, he is still one of the most noble and selfless heroes in the film continuity as he has risked his life to save not just his loved ones but the Earth and the multiverse as well.
- He is the most influential and admirable character as his actions helped shape the course of many events throughout the films such as saving the Wachowskis and Green Hill from Dr. Ivo Robotnik, convincing Knuckles the Echidna to see the error of his ways and protecting the world and all of humanity from being destroyed by Professor Gerald Robotnik.
- He is powerful in both his base and Super Sonic forms capable of high speed, strength, and durability, with only Shadow coming close to these categories.
