The Ultimate Good Wiki
SCU Sonic Grin

The Ultimate Good of the SCU, so far.

The Sonic Cinematic Universe (SCU) is a Paramount film series based on Sega's Sonic The Hedgehog franchise. While the Admirable Standard is high with plenty of heroes, no hero is more admirable or influential than Sonic the Hedgehog.

Plot[]

The plot of the series revolves around a speedy blue hedgehog fittingly named Sonic, who traveled on the Earth to escape a group of evil echidnas who killed his mentor Longclaw. He found a group of human friends who became his family; however, he is hunted by an evil scientist, Doctor Ivo Robotnik, who wants to kill him and steal his power to take over the world.

Potential Candidates for the Ultimate Good[]

Knuckles the Echidna[]

The last of the Echidnas who helped Robotnik get the Master Emerald, he would betray the latter, redeem himself, and help Sonic defeat Robotnik. He would later save lots of people from The Buyer's threat, help infiltrate G.U.N.'s headquarters, and save Sonic and Tails from death by falling.

He currently has less influence than Sonic, though this may change in the future.

Miles "Tails" Prower[]

A naive young fox with two tails, he would encounter Sonic on Earth and warn him about Knuckles. He and Sonic would attempt to stop Knuckles and Robotnik from taking the Master Emerald, and later defeat Robotnik along with Knuckles. He would later help to disable the traps around he G.U.N. headquarters, and flush Robotnik's crab away.

He currently has less influence and power than Sonic, though this may change in the future.

Amy Rose[]

A female hedgehog who appeared at the end of the third movie, she would save Sonic from a team of Metal Sonics, and reveal her identity.

She currently has less influence and power than Sonic, and very little is known about her, though this may change in the future.

Shadow the Hedgehog[]

A vengeful black hedgehog who was imprisoned in stasis for fifty years, he would break free and later, team up with Sonic to save the world from the Eclipse Cannon, almost sacrificing himself in the process.

What currently prevents him, however, is that he is too heinous for the title, as he and Gerald attempted to destroy Earth to avenge a single person (Maria Robotnik), though given his redemption and confirmed survival, this could change in the future.

Close Contenders for the Ultimate Good[]

Longclaw[]

The last of the Owl Warriors and the adoptive mother of Sonic the Hedgehog, Longclaw is responsible for nurturing and caring for Sonic himself before he became a true hero. She would also send a message to him to protect the Master Emerald and sacrificed herself to ensure he would end up on Earth, making her responsible for many events in the series.

However, she fails the admirable standards to many other characters, including Sonic himself even with her limited screentime factored in.

Tom Wachowski[]

A police sheriff from Green Hills, Montana, he would encounter Sonic and assist him in his quest to retrieve his lost rings to escape Robotnik. He would later adopt Sonic and help him infiltrate G.U.N.'s headquarters, even getting the key.

However, while he is very noble, he falls short in terms of influence and power to Sonic, who defeated Robotnik twice, and was the mastermind behind his second defeat.

Dr. Ivo Robotnik[]

The most surprising contender of the trilogy. He would sacrifice himself to save the world and all of humanity from the Eclipse Cannon after killing his grandfather Gerald Robotnik, ultimately redeeming himself.

What prevents him, however, is that he is too heinous for the title, as he attempted to enslave the multiverse and isn't treated as a hero in the work. Whether or not he survived is currently unconfirmed, so this isn't likely to change.
