Richard "Dick" Grayson, better known by his superhero alias Robin, is one of the five titular main protagonists of the 2003 superhero cartoon Teen Titans.
Once serving as the right-hand to Bruce Wayne, he would end up separating from his mentor figure and forming the Teen Titans alongside Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy, serving as their defacto leader.
He was voiced by Scott Menville.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- He is easily one of the most admirable characters in the show, being the leader of the Teen Titans, with him, alongside his teammates, regularly going out to stop large-scale threats to not only Jump City, but the world itself. His most admirable feats come in Season 4, where after Raven fulfilled her role in her father's prophecy and brought the end of the world, where he would not only find and save her, but also give her the confidence to stand up to Trigon and defeat him, saving the whole universe from damnation.
- He is one of the most influential characters in the show, regularly being at the head of most conflicts, forming the Teen Titans, stopping evil forces when they come around such as Slade, who he regularly buts heads with, and even Trigon, serving as the driving force of Raven's character arc in Season 4, leading to the deity's eventual demise.
- While he does have a few corrupting qualities, Robin is still one of the most noble and selfless characters in the show, regularly putting his life on the line for the sake of saving others and always jumping to save the day from large scale threats without question.
- While characters like Raven and Starfire are arguably more powerful than him, Robin is still incredibly strong and capable, managing to take on many threats far larger than himself despite being a regular human. His compassion also allows other characters to reach their full power, such as Raven who, thanks to his endless faith and support, was able to stand up to Trigon, showing her true power as she defeats him, undoing armageddon and saving the world.
- He has a large level of symbolism to his character, being looked up to as a bastion of good and helping others be the best they can be, including his own friends, who he constantly strives to push harder no matter what they believe their limits are.
