Raava is the overarching protagonist of the Avatar franchise. She is a powerful benevolent being that wants to keep balance in the world and protect it from Vaatu. She is a major character in, the television series, The Legend of Korra.
Synopsis[]
For a long time, Raava has been in battle against her archenemy, Vaatu, who threatens the destruction of the world. With Vaatu's rise to power thanks to Unalaq's influence, Raava reappears to assist Korra in their battle against Vaatu and Unalaq to save the world.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- An ancient powerful being that has existed for centuries, having been the very spirit that empowers the Avatars during each incarnation after fusing with Wan to stop Vaatu from annihilating humanity.
- She has powers that can rival her extremely destructive counterpart, Vaatu in battle.
- Raava only wants what is good for the world and maintain balance between the four elements as well as of order and chaos, in which countless lives were able to be saved thanks to her influence through the avatars.
- She helped Korra in their battle against Vaatu and Unalaq, and thus save the world from being plunged to a horrific age of darkness that would see all remnants of humanity that survived their rampage, and all spirit kind oppressed and enslaved by them.
