Puss in Boots is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Fiona) of the Shrek franchise and the titular main protagonist of the Puss in Boots spin-off series. He is an anthropomorphic ginger cat who speaks Spanish and is known for his martial arts. He wears a feathered hat, a cape and a pair of boots. He brandishes a silver blade.
He was voiced by Antonio Banderas.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- Is bar none the most admirable character on the basis of scale. Unlike Shrek whose heroism peaks at ending Rumpel's tyrannical reign over Far Far Away, Puss has saved the entire world from destructive global threats like Big Jack Horner and the Bloodwolf.
- While every other hero as their influence limited to just Far Far Away, Puss in Boots is a heroic force at a global scale, travelling all across the planet and saving people of whatever village he will stumble upon as well as thwarting global threats.
- Is the most skilled fighter in combat in the series. He is able to take down giants like the Sleeping Giant of Del Mar without worry and once he faces is fear, is able to give a hard time for the very personification of Death itself that as admiration for his courage and finally seeing the value of his final life, Death himself spares Puss so he can enjoy his life to the fullest before he returns for him again.
