Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the main protagonists of the Star Wars franchise.
He was portrayed by the late Alec Guinness in the original trilogy. In The Force Awakens, in the prequel and sequel trilogies, he was portrayed by Ewan McGregor, who also voiced Rodney Copperbottom in Robots.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- He is the most admirable character, as he saves the galaxy from his former Pawadan Anakin Skywalker (aka Darth Vader), who planned to become the most powerful Sith. He even went as far to put his life on the line and die for the cause when facing Darth Vader the second time. He also trained Anakin's son Luke to be a Jedi Master as an atonement for his failure to save Anakin from turning into the Dark Side.
- He is also the most influential character, as it was his guidance and plan that led to his next apprentice Luke Skywalker to step forward to stop the Death Star. His spirit is also responsible of helping Rey in taking down Kylo Ren.
- He is one of the most powerful characters in the series, as he is a Jedi Master with incredible Lightsaber swordsmanship and outstanding use of the Light Side of the Force. Additionally, he possesses a humongous amount of willpower, as unlike Anakin and Luke, Obi-Wan never comes close to the Dark Side, let alone fall into it completely. This makes Obi-Wan one of the most incorruptible characters in the entire series.
- While there are times where he lets his care for others cloud his judgement, he is shown to be a rather wise and insightful Jedi Master. He gives Luke about not letting the Force corrupt him or he will be on the Dark Side like Darth Vader. This goes to show how much Obi-Wan learned from his experiences as a Jedi Master and as a teacher seeing Anakin's downfall to the point of not wanting to make the same mistake again with Luke.
