The Ultimate Good Wiki

Nathan Drake is the main protagonist of the Uncharted franchise. He is a wisecracking treasure hunter that goes on dangerous adventures with his long time partner, Victor Sullivan. One day however, Nathan meets a woman named Elena Fisher who he starts to grow feelings for, but due to Elena wanting him to let go of his obsession with treasure hunting, Nate eventually lets go of it despite their normal lives being mundane at the same time. After Sam Drake (Nathan's older brother) forced Nate to come out of retirement, and eventually Elena too, the two of them realized how much they missed their old treasure hunting days, so they start using the money that Sam had snuck into Elena's coat to start treasure hunting again, but in a legal way.

He was voiced and motion captured by Nolan North, and in the film, he was portrayed by Tom Holland.

Actions and Characteristics[]

  • He is easily the most admirable character in the series with him saving the entire world three times, once from toxic gold that Roberto Guerro wanted to spread all over the world's markets, the second time by preventing a zombie apocalypse and the third time by stopping Zoran Lazarević and his men from becoming immortal and starting a bloody takeover all over the world, He also stops Katherine Marlowe and her right-hand Talbot from getting the tainted water from Iram of the Pillars so they could control others through fear and came out of retirement to help Sam pay off a 200 million dollar debt, plus he saves the lives of his allies multiple times throughout the series, giving him some extra boosts to his already immense admirability.
  • He is the most influential protagonist in the series, thanks to him usually being the one to oppose and prevent all of the villains goals from being carried out, plus him being responsible for making Sullivan a better person and being responsible for the events of the 3rd and 4th games thanks to his and Sullivan's past with Marlowe that kickstarted the events of the third game and his and Sam's past with Rafe that kickstarted the events of the 4th game.
  • He is quite powerful, being able to take on brutes that are much bigger and stronger then him in hand to hand combat, plus being a one man army that can single handedly take on groups of enemies with little effort in both unarmed and armed combat and he is also skilled with a variety of weapons, being able to use every gun he gets his hands on efficiently.
  • He is shown to be vastly intelligent numerous times throughout the series, being able to perfectly translate Latin from centuries as long ago as the 13th century, figure out all of the clues and puzzles that are left behind on his treasure hunts and know exactly how to strategize to always triumph over his opponents, an example being when he knew Lazarevic was invincible to normal weaponry, he uses the saps from the Tree of Life in order to damage him.
  • He has amazing willpower as he never backs away from a fight even when all the odds seem against him, climbed up a train that was hanging off the side of a cliff whilst having a gunshot wound in his stomach, resisted Marlowe's psychological tactics she used to attempt to destroy the loyalty he had towards Sullivan, managed to survive for 2 whole days in the Rhub al Khali desert without any food or water and he resisted being completely driven to insanity by the tainted water he accidentally drank from a fountain unlike everyone else who killed each other due to the effects of the water.
  • Despite being an anti-hero who can be rather self-serving and jerkish at times, this doesn't take away from his heroism as he never harms or kills any innocent people and when push comes to shove, Nate will always risk his own life to save the world when he has to, with his heroism far outshining any anti-heroic acts he commits throughout the series.
