The Mighty Eagle is the overarching protagonist of the Angry Birds franchise.

He's a gigantic bald eagle with an affinity for sardines that is usually portrayed as a legendary bird who fought in the ancient days of the conflict. In the games, he's an optional character and the most powerful bird in the game, with him breaking everything in his path once summoned.

Action and Characteristics[]

  • He was one of the most influential heroes in Angry Birds since in the old days before birds like Red were born, he protected all birds from the pigs in the war, taking on thousands of them to make sure his people didn’t die and while his protection of his entire species is offscreen with a few vague details, it had a major impact on the story to the point of him being the overarching protagonist highlighting how influential he truly was.
    • His actions also inspired fellow TUG Red to achieve similar levels of admirability and power.
  • While he was sometimes rude to the other birds, this didn't stop him from being one of the most admirable characters since his reason for being rude was partially justified as they sometimes invaded his privacy.
  • Among being summoned, he was capable of clearing out entire structures, if used in game he quite literally acted as a way to instantly beat a level, showing he was one of the most powerful birds playable.
  • Although he was now old, weaker and failed to his kind once, this didn't make him a slouch in nobility as he was still willing to save his people, if necessary, even without sardines and whenever he did fail, he felt severe remorse and held himself accountable for it despite the fact it wasn’t truly his fault.
