Max Keeble is the titular main protagonist of Max Keeble's Big Move. He is a junior high school who becomes the first victim of bullying on his first day of school and, as a result, seeks revenge on his tormentors. However, he becomes a true hero when Principal Jindraike attempts to destroy the animal shelter to create a football stadium via with money he stole from the school's budget.
He was portrayed by Alex D. Linz.
Action & Characteristics[]
- He is the most admirable character in the film, as he saves the animals in the shelter from being bulldozed by Principal Jindraike. He also exposes Jindraike for fiddling with the school's budget. If it weren't for Max, Jindraike would've have the school bankrupt and let the animals suffer out in the open after he destroys the animal shelter.
- He is the most influential character as he inspires his classmates and other students to look for more peaceful solutions to make the school a better place instead of seeking revenge. This speech led to Max becoming a school hero.
- Additionally, he inspires his father to stand up to his overbearing and abusive employer, Mr. Foge, and become his own person.
- He is incredibly intelligent, as he concocted a plan to pull pranks on Jindraike and the bullies without being instantly discovered. He even broke-and-entered into the school without being caught by the school janitor.
- While he started out as an anti-heroic troublemaker who was driven by vengeance and thirst for popularity, he sees how his actions badly affect others and eventually decides to make amends to save the school from being bankrupt and the animal shelter from being destroyed.
