The Ultimate Good of Kirby
Kirby is an ongoing video game franchise created by HAL Labatory and Nintendo. While it is home to many powerful and admirable heroes, the clear pinnacle of virtue in this franchise is none other than the icon of the Ultimate Good Wiki himself, Kirby.
Plot[]
Kirby follows the cosmic adventures of its titular character, a jolly young alien with an insatiable appetite and a carefree lifestyle who lives in Dream Land, a wacky and wonderful country on Planet Popstar, and protects it and other worlds from many cosmic threats, all while making friends wherever he goes.
Close Contenders for the Ultimate Good[]
King Dedede[]
Despite first appearing as a gluttonous and self-centred jerk and Kirby's very first enemy, Dedede went on to become one of his best friends. Ever since his very second appearance, Dedede has been quick to team up with Kirby against even his most powerful foes, oftentimes even playing an instrumental role in defeating them. Furthermore, he isn't afraid to put his life in front of those need like his Waddle Dees, and some of his spacefaring adventures, along with role as Dream Land's king, gives him a considerable amount of influence.
While Dedede is very admirable and powerful, his influence still doesn't compare to that of Kirby's enough for him to make the cut as the Ultimate Good.
Magolor[]
A magical traveller from another dimension, Magolor started out as a megalomaniacal trickster who tricked Kirby and his friends into helping him take over the universe. However, after Kirby defeated him, he realized the error of his ways and atoned for his crimes, helping Kirby defeat many of his enemies across several dimensions such as King D-Mind, the Aeon Hero and Void Termina and even vanquishing the cataclysmic Master Crown that he originally sought for himself.
While Magolor certainly has the influence and power, his admirability and power leaves a bit to be desired, knocking him down too hard to make him the Ultimate Good.
Meta Knight[]
Meta Knight, a brooding warrior who closely resembles Kirby beneath his mask, is essentially the sworn guardian of Planet Popstar. Starting out as a more anti-heroic and unpredictable character, he eventually grew to be a staunch ally of Kirby and his friends. Outside of helping Kirby vanquish several of his enemies, including the universe-threatening Star Dream, he has also performed several heroic feats on his own, such as protecting Waddle Dee Town and trying to stop Dark Meta Knight on his own.
Despite this, Meta Knight's slight arrogance and past villainy, plus his lesser amount of influence, admirability, and power compared to Kirby, prevents him from fully becoming the Ultimate Good.
