Charlotte Emily, later known as the Puppet, is the deuteragonist of the ScottGames era of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise.
She is the daughter of Fazbear Entertainment's co-founder Henry Emily who was murdered by Henry's colleague William Afton, leading to her possessing an animatronic marionette and becoming the caretaker of Afton's other victims, the Missing Children.
She is voiced by both Jena Rundus and Lena Gwendolyn Hill.
Actions and Characteristics[]
- She is one of the most admirable characters in the whole franchise, being the one who protected the souls of the many child victims of William Afton and made a valiant effort to find Afton and avenge his victims, eventually going on to organize "Happiest Day", allowing Afton's original five victims to move on to the afterlife after so many years of unfinished business. She also gradually subverts any corrupting qualities she once had over the span of the series.
- She has one of the largest amounts of influence of any of the heroic characters from the ScottGames era, only beaten out by her father Henry, since she was the one who helped the souls possess the animatronics, leading to the events of the whole series playing out, not to mention she has a major presence in at least four of the locations in the game timeline.
- She is shown to be quite intelligent, having figured out how possession works, resulting in her being able to bring back the Missing Children. Phone Guy even states the Puppet is "always thinking" and she's shown to be far beyond the other animatronics in terms of intelligence.
- She's certainly no slouch in terms of power, being very fast, stealthy and able to kill an adult human. It's also implied she possesses some paranormal abilities, like inducing hallucinations.
- While her father Henry arguably outdoes her in several ways, the Puppet is still the Ultimate Good because she lacks Henry's severe corrupting traits.
